About the Event
The timelessness and tragedy of a Shakespearean classic meets the forested hallmark of New England horror; CUPS proudly presents Macbeth, a promenade-style walkthrough performance, directed by Kim H. Carrell.
Step off of campus and explore the Hadwen Arboretum, transformed into the forests of Dunsinane. Venture through war-torn Scottish highlands and haunted heaths, bearing witness to the legendary tale of a bloodthirsty autocrat and his quest for unchecked power. Macbeth is not for the faint of heart; copious amounts of blood, beheadings, and witchcraft will follow your evening.
Walkthroughs will be open to the public twice a night for four evenings. Audience groups are at a maximum of 20 persons per walkthrough. All audience members must present valid Clark IDs upon arrival at the arboretum.
